Lori Iwan was named an Illinois Super Lawyer and an Illinois Leading Lawyer in the area of commercial litigation for 2011.
Lori Iwan received a U.S. Copyright for her creation of the work "Litigation Management College" containing the details of a sample case for litigation management training which has been used for the past ten years in an annual presentation of the case as the heart of the litigation training program.
Lori Iwan has been named to the President's Council of the University of Illinois Foundation, Champaign, IL, 2010.
On October 10, 2008, Lori Iwan received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the University of Illinois College of Law. This award has only been given to 300 Alumni since 1966. On June 27, 2008, Lori was the Program Chair for the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel program on "Legal Ethics," presented in Chicago, Illinois, and qualifying for four hours of Illinois CLE credits for the attendees.
"The Quarterly", the FDCC's scholoarly legal journal published Lori's article "Debunking the Neuropsychological Witness and Injury Case," Winter, 2008.
Lori presented her Commercial Damages Paper, "Trying Your Damage Case - Strategies for Reducing Compensatory and Punitive Damages," at the 2007 Trial Masters Program, Plenary Session, FDCC Mid-Year Meeting, February 25-March 4, 2007, in Scottsdale, Arizona. The paper also was published in the Summer 2007 "The Quarterly" a scholarly legal journal published by the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel ("FDCC").
